It IS all about the hunt. You know what I mean. That delicious feeling of finding that vintage item for a dollar. It must be my lucky day.

This feeling came very early for me as many of my childhood memories involve my family and I at old country auctions. My mom would bid on a box lot and we would dig through it looking for treasure. And what treasure we found!

This is the lure of vintage.
Today the pull is still irresistible.

I spend lots of time cleaning and handling my objects. This makes the whole thing much more personal for me. Then I send them off to be loved by someone else. Even if I never make a fortune dealing in vintage, I will have a wealth of experiences to remember and many adventures to look forward to.

Today, I find something at a good price, clean it, photograph it, pack it, and sell it to the world! I love Etsy for making this experience fun. I chose Etsy because of the artful and elegant look to their site. We were made for each other!
